Nicole Jackson, LGPC, NCC
Multicultural Resiliency Specialist
I am a therapist motivated to guide and support you through your journey of growth. My therapeutic style is client-centered with a focus on building emotional resilience, reducing stress, and restoring confidence. I use integrative mindfulness-based techniques to empower clients to take back control of their mental and physical being. In addition, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and skill-building interventions to help clients make sense of the past while building new resources to take ownership of the future. I have worked with individuals from many ethnic backgrounds and diverse lifestyles. I have experience working in both individual and group settings to serve clients in every area of their lives.
“My background working with a wide range of people struggling with mental health stressors helps me understand the importance of acceptance and safety as the pathway to healing. I believe that feeling heard, understood, and validated is the first step to a therapeutic relationship in which growth toward one's potential can occur. As an integrative therapist, I show up authentic, trustworthy, and nonjudgmental to support individuals in discovering their whole and true selves. On this journey with me, you will find that you have the power to gain complete awareness of your true self and navigate through any obstacle that comes your way. We are not separate and isolated individuals, we are whole and total. I believe in you, let your journey start today.”
